- Take the Mountlake Blvd (University of Washington) Exit from the freeway.
- Merge (north bound) onto Montlake Boulevard NE. Follow the arterial past Husky Stadium and past the big parking lot. The road curves to the right.
- Turn left from the short left-turn lane onto NE 45th Street viaduct and procede up the steep hill.
- Turn right (north) onto 16th Ave NE and continue to NE 50 St.
